From World First to World Leader TAKEUCHI

Takeuchi Group, founded in 1963, created new markets with the development of the world’s first mini excavator andthe world’s first compact track loader in the construction machinery industry. With constantly meeting global needs and responding to them with our products, we have maintained growth along with the market.

The major characteristics of the Group is product development with most of the production remaining in Japan. We are a global business, and most of our consolidated revenue comes from sales in overseas markets. In addition, our reputation for the products we manufacture is our main strength in the market, their power and durability, ease of operation and comfort has led us to maintain our high market share.

The idea of our Founder is to create “a product that did not previously exist,” and “a product that is useful to people.” This spirit is our guiding principle and has been inherited by our company as the Corporate Philosophy, “From World First to World Leader TAKEUCHI.” Furthermore, looking to the future and bearing in mind the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, we hope to contribute to the realization of an eco-friendly and affluent society. Above all, “Sustainable Cities and Communities” is the very heart of our Group business.  By working upon eco-friendly product development, we can extensively contribute to society by developing, manufacturing, selling and maintaining our construction machines that enable safer, more efficient and cleaner urban construction. In addition, we actively promote an environment where our employees can work in healthy surroundings, and where they are valued and supported. Through these efforts, we aim to be a company that is trusted and valued by our customers, business partners, shareholders, local communities, employees and their families.
