TB335R Short Tail Swing Excavator

Takeuchi’s latest 300 Series excavator, the TB335R, features a minimal tail swing design that allows operators to focus more on their work and worry less about rear swing impacts. Operators will find that the TB335R’s compact radius provides excellent maneuverability and accessibility at confined worksites without sacrificing stability. The excavator’s powerful bucket and arm crowd forces and a wide working range also deliver unmatched performance.

A comfortable operator is a productive operator. The TB335R features a wide range of improvements that will enhance the operator’s experience, including a fully redesigned interior with one-touch controls, jog dial, high-definition color monitor, and deluxe, high-back suspension seat with fore/aft/tilt and multiple height adjustments. Low-effort hydraulic pilot controls serve as an extension of the operator, delivering precise control and minimizing fatigue. The cabin interior is inviting and spacious for enhanced comfort and productivity throughout the day.

Daily inspections and maintenance are easy thanks in part to a swing-out engine hood and overhead-opening right side cover. With the hoods open, operators can quickly inspect the water separator, radiator and oil cooler, hydraulic oil level sight gauge, fuel level, dual element air cleaners, coolant level, engine oil dipstick, and battery.

Four Pillars

The short tail swing design – Allows the TB335R to work in confined job sites with little concern for rear swing impact. Only 80 mm overhang beyond the track width enables the operator to work the machine in limited space with complete confidence and improve operating efficiency.

Automatic Step Down Travel Motors – Provide torque on demand when pushing, climbing, or turning in high speed mode.

Multiple Auxiliary Hydraulics – Simplify installation of hydraulic attachments improving productivity and limiting downtime.

Shut-off Valve – Simplify attachment installation and limit the release of hydraulic oil.

Stay in your Seat – Hydraulic flow can be adjusted from the comfort of the operator’s seat.

Fuel supply pump under the right side cover automatically supplies fuel to the tank and stops when the fuel tank is full. Operators do not need to check the fuel gauge while filling.

TOPS / ROPS / OPG Cab and Canopy – Provides the operator with greater peace of mind.

Triple Flange Track Rollers – Provide increased roller to rail contact improving track retention.

Heavy Duty Counterweight – Offers wrap around protection and contributes to the excellent stability.

All Steel Construction – The engine hood and right side cover are all steel for increased durability.

Heavy Duty Blade – Integrated gusset reinforcements and large blade cylinder give you the strength and durability you expect from the class leader.

Automotive Styled Interior – Is completely redesigned over TB200 series excavator. Spacious operator compartment is almost the same size as the conventional model, TB235-2.

7” Color Touch Screen Display (CAB)  – The most machine functions and settings, including air conditioning, radio and hydraulic flow adjustment can be quickly accessed through 7” touch screen display for maximum convenience.

Intuitive Jog Dial and Multi-Switch Control Panel – Most machine features, including engine speed can be controlled by new designed jog dial for a more intuitive operation. The multi-switch control panel offers simple and durable touch pad control of common functions.

Folding Foot Pedals – Can be placed in the stowed position for additional foot space improving operator comfort.

Pilot Operated Joystick Controls – Deliver precise responsive controls, and are low effort reducing fatigue.

Wide Opening Covers – Offer convenient access to main components for outstanding serviceability.

Rear Engine Hood – Allows access to the dipstick, engine oil fil, double element air cleaner, pilot line filter, fuel filter, water separator and accumulator.

Right Side Cover – Provides excellent access to the air breather of the hydraulic tank, hydraulic oil fill, fuel supply pomp, battery, A/C condenser, and radiator.
